Little Thailand in Yeonnam-dong, Tuk Tuk Noodle Thai with 9 years of history

When the weather is warm and sunny, it reminds me of Thai food. It would have been perfect if the weather was more hot as the weather in real Thailand. haha.

Standing at the front door, I realized that ‘tuk tuk’ means auto rickshaw in Thailand.

See? There is a tuk tuk in the middle.

Went upstairs following the banner in front of the stairway.

At

first, I was thinking about sitting on the terrace but ended up

sitting inside. It looks exotic inside. Various

drinks caught my eyes.

There are 4 main types of food except drinks. Side dishes and salads, soups, meats, and seafood.

Their representative food is tom yam kung and I was thinking about trying it but suddenly I felt curious about their dish of pork neck. I wondered how do they cook the pork neck in Thai.

Decided to go with ‘Ko Mu Yang(คอหมูย่าง)’ with a bowl of rice!

The amount of meat was enough to eat alone. If it was a Korean BBQ restaurant, there would have been a weight mark…

I did not consider it when I ordered it but, the rice was actually southeast Asian style – indica rice. It goes well with this kind of dishes.

‘Ko Mu Yang’ was baked with spicy, salty and sweet sauce. It has nice as it doesn’t have too strong flavor.

When I dipped the meat in the sauce that came with the baked pork neck, the scent became stronger and added the unique sourness of Thai food.

It’s break time from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m on weekdays, so you may want to avoid it.

The location is exit 3 of Hongdae Station, Line 2, and it’s about 15 minutes walk.
