There are various restaurants at Konkuk University entrance where two subway lines, line 2 and line 7 meet. From Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Italian food, there are many restaurants with different nationalities and styles. The Lonnie Lottie Konkuk University branch I am introducing today is famous for its cost-effective Italian restaurant.
I guess Ronnie Rotti is putting forward a half menu. I think they have started a policy to reduce the amount and price of the food, which was basically served for two person, and order a variety of menus instead. I happened to visit alone, so I didn't feel burdened eating alone.
The interior is very spacious. It's a perfect atmosphere for college students to go on a blind date. A large group meet up is also likely to be possible.
They emphasize that the process of making food is not lax even though it is a reasonable price. Considering the price and quantity of a decent Italian restaurant, I would like to compliment them.
The best menu of Ronnie Rotti is pork neck steak salad. Maybe that's why it's the first to appear on the menu.
The menu has pictures of each items so it's as thick as a book. But it's nice to see the detailed menu before ordering food. I ordered the most popular menu, pork neck steak salad and hand-made strawberry ade.
Pickles are set first.
Here's the strawberry ade. I didn't like it because it tastes like melted tube popsicle.
A generous pork neck steak salad is served. It's half size for 1~1.5 person, so I guess one plate(for 2 person) must be really plentiful.
The most impressive thing was the noodle-like cheese right above it. They were really generous!
Half garlic baguette and salad on one side.
On the other side, yogurt sauce and fruit.
The steak was thinner than it looked. Maybe that's why it was't that juicy and not chewy enough. The sauce and the seasoning were a bit disappointing, but the price was so nice that I managed to finish the meal generously.
A combination of various menus and affordable prices. It's Lonnie Lottie Konkuk University branch.
