Tonkotsu ramen with over 10 years of tradition, Kamamarui Ramen
서울먹거리
Last Modified : 2020/09/23

This ramen restaurant that I visited this time makes me think that the size of the store is not important, but the sincerity of the food is the key.

It is famous for making broth in the traditional Japanese way for three days straight.

It's located in an alley.

They make not only broth but also sauces and noodles themselves.

There used to be a branch in Sinchon, but it seems like it's closed and this is the only one left.

It's a cozy room for eating alone. In addition to the ramen, mapa dubu(mapo tofu, spicy tofu) and rice are provided free of charge.

I guess it's a service that started with consideration for student guests in the neighborhood.

Isn't this banner ad should be in the front of the store?

Well, it's good to be noticed, but it's a bit stuffy to see through the kitchen.

If there's no menu at all, I understand, but there's a menu.

Let's take a look at the menu first.

There's a summer-only menu. But, not today. I want to eat with sweat today.

The most popular one is tonkotsu ramen. You can also choose the type of broth and noodles.

I'd like to order karai ramen. I like spicy food, but I'm good with shin ramen's level.

First of all, it looks very neat.

The soup has a deep taste and the noodles are not too soft, not too chewy. And it's seasoned properly so it tastes clean.

I can see why he's been so popular with college students in the neighborhood.

It open for lunch and dinner, and they have a break time in the afternoon. It's closed on Sunday.

It's about 15 minutes from exit 2 of Sinchon Station.
