This place was the office for the prison officers who supervised prisoners.
Hongsanhyeon was the place for security in government office. It has high value as it is not common in the buildings of Joseon dynasty period. It was registered No.178 Chungcheongnam-do tangible cultural asset in July 21, 2004. This wooden building was rebuilt in 1871.
