Well-being Bongpyeng Makguksu 웰빙봉평막국수

After roaming around the aquarium, it was time to eat already.

There was Doljib restaurant near terminal which is a famous restaurant next to Jangdari, but I decided to something cold rather than garlic so I went to eat Bongpyeng Makguksu.

It's Well-being Bongpyeng Makguksu near Daemyeng resort in Danyang.

Most customers were old people. That poster on the wall is about buck wheat's effectiveness.

They do not sell alcohols or other foods. They only sell Makguksu. They are very confident about their noodles.

It's an open kitchen. They get noodles from this machine right after they get orders.

These are two side dishes served after ordering food. There are vinegar and sugar on the table to season the food to suit your own taste.

This is makguksu. It's a bit bland maybe because it's well-being (for diet), but it was very cold and delicious.

This is bibim makguksu. You don't have to put any other sauce, just eat it right away. It was delicious, too. Bibim guksu was more popular among customers. It was enough to make me full.

Yangbaek Waterfall 양백폭포

I went to see Yangbaek waterfall after eating. It's an artificial fall which you can also

see from Sin-danyang-naru in Danyang downtown. However, there was no fixed operating time even though I called several places to ask. Thus, I didn't see water falling down despite the factthat I went here for several times during my trip. It was the most disappointing part of my trip.

While looking at the dried waterfall, I saw this paragliding on the sky.

A lot of paragliding was falling from the paragliding place on top of the mountain. I saw several paragliding places facing Namhan river, but I think this paragliding is the best where you can see Danyang downtown.

You can ride it with a professional and it's 100,000won. If you will take a picture, you have to pay 20,000won more. If you fill out an application form from the downtown, they will pick you up and you will land in front of Sin-danyang-naru. I would like to try once if I had enough time.

There were many bicycles in front of where paragliding lands.

It's a bicycle rental, "Taborae." From May to November, between 9:00 to 18:00, you can rent for free. It's a good transportation for you to look around the downtown. However, you can't ride this to go to other tourist spot because there is no bicycle depository and it's far.

There is no cinema in Danyang so they sometimes show movies for people in front of the market.

While looking around Subyen stage, it was already getting dark.

they turned on beautiful lights on Kosu bridge. The day passed by quickly. I started to pack up my things to go back to my house.

Its name, Danyang, is a short name for "Yeondanjoyang." It's fresh and good to live. Its name is beautiful, too. You can enjoy four-season nature, history and culture, and other various contemporary leports together. It has beautiful and great tourist spots. I was lucky to travel here.

One thing that is a bit disappointing is that the public transportation is not yet developed as much as the cities. Moreover, there are only few clear information about each tourist spot. But still, there were lots of things to enjoy and eat.

It was tiring because I went to many places, but it became an unforgettable memories for me.

Additional (Danyang Tourist Information Desk)

I went to the tourist information desk located at Namdan Kosu bridge to give them the stamps I collected.

I wrote my name and address and they gave me these gifts! Actually, they only give tumblers, but they gave me more.

Shopping baskets and socks were not my style, but I was still happy to get them.

The END!!
