There is Daeungbojeon Hall on the plumber block on the backside of Daegwangbojeon Hall. There are four famous Lespedeza bicolor pillars inside. The legend says you can be close to the heaven if you turn while embracing the pillar. Some people say the king of the underworld would ask you the question, “How many times have you turned Lespedeza bicolor in Magoksa temple?” Others say you can give birth to a son after turning Lespedeza bicolor pillar. Believe It Or Not.

There is a signboard saying “you should turn back before going to Daeungbojeon Hall. It means nobody can enter the private place of monks, I guess. Isn't it more polite than “Go back” or “Private”?

It informs the cost for pray in detail. You can be prayed for one year at 300,000 won. But it just costs 10,000 won for a daily pray.

This is the roof of Daegwangbojeon hall when you overlook it from the top. The tree separates two places.

The

poses of tourists who take a picture in front of Daeungbojeon hall

are so funny.

This is Daeungbojeon to the road to stone bridge.

Mother and her babies are crossing the bridge. The second child crosses the bridge with her mother, but the first child goes by himself.

You

can see Kim Koo's trail on the left side of the bridge. The road of

meditation looks mysterious.

I took pictures of families, foreigners and couples in the woodlands. Even though they are just passengers, I can see the various lives of a lot of people.
