This village is so small and peaceful. Only tourists make this place noisy. Maybe I should not bother local people. I can see a stone written Pangyo Village. It is interesting.

Is this morning glory? Flowers at the entrance of the village are welcoming tourists.

Oksanzip was open in the early morning and waited guests. I asked old female what this store is selling. She said makgeolli is sold. She made various side dishes with a lot of ingredients. I didn't enter the store since I could not drink alcohol in the midday. “I will visit later. Stay healthy.”

Every junks of local people would be fixed in this place. Business trip is welcome.

I can find an iron foundry. The combination of various stores was amazing.

Nobody was working on national holiday, but I could listen the sound of busy people.

This building was once used for the warehouse of Nonghyeop. Faded yellow color was so elegant.

This mailbox might never have been cleaned. :-)

The old front gate gets totally rusty. I can see a doghole. :-)

This gym is the largest among the old buildings. But it has been deserted.

Words written on the front gate of the building would be splendid in the past. Massage and various martial arts like Gigongsul, pobaksul and a super strength power were given to many people.

Chinese restaurant “Dongsaengchun”. I can see the word “cold bean-soup noodles is being sold”. I love to eat the menu in summer. :-)

Why drug stores exist? Maybe that is because people have to protect their health. So, the name of this drug store is “Bogun”, which means health. It directly tells us the reason to exist.

The words of samgyetang(chicken soup with ginseng) and cold bean-soup noodles are so simple. :-)

The death of the actor Paul Newman did drew attention from a lot of people. So did the movie “The cat on a hot tin roof”. This tin roof is real red color. You can see it only here.

The signboard of “Samwha rice mill” has been faded, so I hardly recognized it. But no one doesn't use the store just for that reason. All farming societies have rice mills, and all cities have cell phone stores.

Honam regular cargo. In the past, people used to send rice or necessaries by regular cargo truck. I waited rice bag with my father when I was little. My father's name and address were written on the rice bag in red paint. I had to wait one~two hours more sometimes. It was inconvenient, but I miss that time. I want to meet my young and tall father again.

The dog barked loudly, so the owner was upset. I didn't make any noise, though.

I cannot understand why “sugar” is written on the signboard in that big size. Flour, sugar and noodle were the most precious foods in the 1960s.

This is a house with a tin roof. The lonely Korean flag lets us know that today is a national holiday.

The old signboard looks like a mural in an old cave.

The combination of red roof and yellow door is awesome.

Why don't you call international marriage information company? It will introduce you the first class bride. :-) In fact, the women who come from other countries help Korea's farm village. We deserve to be happy.

Rose has blossomed in a small rubber tub. The old building with Japanese architecture style looks beautiful. The man of his 70s passes by. Rose looks even more beautiful in the old village.

“Look at that rose. It will blossom again in the next year, huh? We may pass away , though.” I was sad after talking to an old woman. :-)

Old women would have a chat until the sunset, I guess.

You can see a brewery after passing by the rice mill and the photo studio. Even though I cannot smell the fragrance of alcohol, the brewery still looks vigorous.

Pangyo middle school is located in the end of the village. And there is a farm machine repair shop on the opposite side. Even though it is a national holiday, the owner looks busy.

This is Jinheung agricultural machine repair shop. Like other signboards in this village, the signboard looks like a mural in the Old Stone Age.

He is driving to somewhere. He has a busy day!

Broken bikes and agricultural machines are piled up next to the repair shop.

Rose in the yard is showing her face outside the world.

An empty house looks lonely. Some people say house is faded away when there is no person. I think it is true. People and house should live together.

Someone is got a trim in the beauty shop.

There is a building of specialized food town at the end of Pangyo village. But this newly established modern building is not matched with surrounding environment. Supermarket's signboard tells me that Sogokju is famous in Seocheon.

The combination of the signboard of bus station and the blue sky is out of this world.

I looked at the guide map of Seocheon-gun. And then I decided Seocheon sinseong-ri reed field for the next destination.

I couldn't bear the hot weather. So I visited Gaemi coffee shop to have a cold coffee.

Everything was so old. Even the heater was shabby. The tables and inconvenient chairs reminded me of the old coffee shop in my childhood.

Those briquettes would be used in winter, huh?

The artificial flowers were so crude. The large calendar was shabby. I felt like as if I had been in the past.
