Seocheon, Chungcheongnam-do, is located in the west sea, which is 200 kilometers far from Seoul. It is adjacent to Nonsan, Gunsan and Boryeong. Seocheon is not splendid, but friendly. Many people visit here to find common daily life, old buildings and beautiful places.
I departed my house at 7 a.m. and passed Seocheon IC at 9:20 a.m. I was so hungry that I searched for a restaurant to have a breakfast. I wanted to visit local restaurant to eat local food. And then, I entered to “Saemmul Restaurant” as breakfast was available.
I asked the female owner, “Which menu is delicious?”
She said, “I don't know. You should choose it.”
I thought she was a little bit rude, but I ordered Pollack Stew, anyways.
Jjigae was boiled in the old pot. It looked quite delicious.
I asked her again, “Could you bring me a fried-egg? I always want to have it outside my house.” She quickly served delicious fried egg. She was kind, in fact.
It was not special, but better than an expressway rest area. The female owner kindly explained the way to “Hongsanhyeon government office”, the first destination. I was thankful of her.
