Janghwa-ri
Sunset:
I visited Janghwa-ri in order to appreciate the glow of the setting sun. I went there in very cold winter once before. It is the best place to see sunset in Ganghwado.
Blue
sky turned into gold. It means that it is time for sunset.
It is good time both for one and two people. Reed is shining with sunset, and the wave is losing blue color. Seagulls are flying beyond horizon.
The
whole world turned into red color.
The sun is partially hided by clouds, and the horizon is clean. But...
But cloud hides the horizon all of a sudden. It doesn't allow “Omega”, the perfect glow of setting sun. But I think it is memorable sunset. It is lucky day.
The sunset is over, and it is time to go back to home.
The road is stuck. I could come back home at midnight after having dinner in blue crab restaurant.
I
have been to Gandwhado for several times, but it is the first time to
look around Gyodong, field and rice paddy, and appreciate the sunset
of Janghwa-ri. Gangwhado is close for some reason. It is over 100
kilometers from Gangnam to Gyodong. It takes about two hours, which
are the same time from Gangnam to Sokcho. But Gangwhado is better
than Sokcho to go on a visit, not spend time on the road. And jumbo
shrimp, the seasonal food, is amazing.
