Hwacheon Market
Hwacheon Market next to Seondeung Street was connected through alleys. Unlike other lively markets where there are stands lining up right outside the shops, the shops here were quiet here.
Inside the market, various restaurants with colorful decorations were seducing customers.
I saw many soldiers with their families who visited them inside the restaurants as well. The training must be hard but they were getting some “fresh air outside" with their happy faces due to their families' or friends' visit.
As we passed by the shop that says they would fillet raw fish if we bring them trout, we were wondering if we could actually catch those.
Including Korean pancake, fried food, sundae, gukbap, tofu and so on, there were delicious and friendly dishes that we could see easily in the market.
People living in Hwacheon were experts at riding bicycles in such narrow alleys.
As the sun goes down, neon signs from different kinds of shops were starting to shine on Hwacheon-si.
When the evening came, the patterns of lanterns looked more colorful.
